Drive on the Canyon Road
Everyone, and I really do mean everyone, should try and go for a drive on the spectacular Canyon Road. There are dozens of art galleries along the road and some interesting houses. You'll soon pass some nice sculptures and then some restaurants. We stopped a few times on the way to explore the best looking galleries, which were usually the ones with the most people hanging around.

Santa Fe City Centre
When you come here for the very first time, go to the plaza when you get here. Make sure that you spend time walking around and getting to know the area. It is a good way to become familiar with the city and what there is available in terms of shops, etc.

Go to the Santa Fe Farmers Market
The Farmers Market is close to the city centre and is on the Cerrillos Road. We had a very filling and inexpensive breakfast at one of the cafes upstairs. The were some nice gifts, like candles and things, and a lot of nice looking food, bread and cakes.
